Fast, fail-safe purification of peptide and protein samples
Highest quality results are critically dependent on optimal sample preparation. Following on from a concept first decribed by Rappsilber et al (Anal. Chem. 2003, 75, 663-670), Proxeon has developed the StageTip range - ready to use, prepacked microcolumns for purification. Applications include desalting, pre-concentration, and separation (by step elution) of samples for MALDI, LC-MS and nano ES-MS.

What are StageTips?
StageTips are disposable polypropylene pipette tips containing a microcolumn insert and fitting onto standard pipettes and most commercial robotic systems. The PTFE-based microcolumn insert supports densely packed particles of chromatography material.
Which StageTip should I choose?
The wide range of StageTips available enables you to select according to the type of purification required and the amount of sample to be purified. Approximate loading capacities are specified for each product.
StageTips using GE Loader pipette tips are ideal for depositing cleaned sample directly into the emitter with minimal sample loss when performing off-line nano ES MS.
