Tube Gels

Genomic Solutions Pre-Cast IEF Carrier Ampholyte Tube Gels offer a convenient alternative to casting your own tube gels for 2-D electrophoresis. Our combination of proprietary gel chemistry with a patented threaded tube design yields optimum resolution, reproducibility and ease of use.

Analytical Tube Gels
The pre-cast IEF tube gels come ready to use in 1 mm x 26 cm threaded glass tubes. No rehydration is necessary. The threaded analytical tubes are specifically designed to allow easy gel handling after extrusion from the tubes. The patented thread does not bind protein and has no effect on the protein 2-D pattern. The analytical tubes will accept sample protein loads of up to 100 ? g and sample volumes of up to 50 ? l. Pre-cast tube gels are compatible with any electrophoresis system that can accommodate the tubing sizes.
