Bradford Assay Kit
Based on the method of Bradford, this assay is a simple and accurate procedure for determining the concentration of protein. The Bradford Assay is a dye-binding test in which a differential color change of Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 dye occurs in response to various concentrations of protein. Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 dye binds primarily to basic and aromatic amino acid residues, especially arginine. The absorbance maximum for an acidic solution of Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 dye shifts from 465 nm to 595 nm when binding to protein. By comparing to a standard curve, the relative protein concentration can be determined.
This kit:
1. Enables user to extract proteins from tissues in 60 minutes with a high recovery rate of 75 - 95%.
2. Includes protein extraction and sample dilution buffer to avoid interactions with buffer and detergent components.
3. Contains a full set of ready to use protein standards.
4. Is high reproducibility.
A special program with Excel functionality, BIOO ELISA Detection Analysis System, is available upon request, to help process the data.
